St John Op 92

Lodge St John Operative 92

Lodge St John (Operative) was founded in 1764. The present lodge building is listed and dates back to 1796. Initially the Lodge was purely for Operative Masons who built the bridge over the mouth of the Deveron and left their masonic markings thereon. The brethren of Lodge St John Operative 92 often visited neighbouring towns to confer degrees and were accustomed to marching in procession in their full regalia.
